Monaco celebrated the arrival of the princely twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella on 10 December 2014.

Gabriella Thérèse Marie was born at 5.04 pm and her brother, Jacques Honoré Rainier born two minutes later, at 5.06 pm, in the Maternity section at the Princess Grace Hospital.

Prince Jacques is the Crown Prince, according to the succession laws in Monaco, where male heirs are given precedence over females.

Official Presentation

The proud parents presented their twins to a crowd outside from the balcony of the Prince’s Palace on 7 January 2015, which lasted about five minutes.
