A Happy Monday from Buckingham Palace! The Australian State Coach in the Grand Entrance has just received its Monday morning cleaning ahead of being viewed by members of the public visiting this Summer’s ‘Royal Welcome’ exhibition at Buckingham Palace. The coach was presented to Queen Elizabeth II of Australia and the United Kingdom as the official gift on the occasion of the Australian Bicentennial on 8 May 1988. Each summer between July and September the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace open to the public. For the first time ever, visitors to the Summer Opening will enter the State Rooms through the Grand Entrance, used by those who come to the Palace at the invitation of The Queen, including Heads of State and Prime Ministers. #BuckinghamPalace #RoyalWelcome #StateCoach #RoyalCollection #GrandEntrance #TheQueen
