The Norwegian Royal Court has released new official photos to celebrate Princess Ingrid Alexander’s 12th birthday on 21 January.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra was born on 21 January 2004 at Rikshospitalet University Hospital in Oslo at 9.13 am, the eldest child of heir apparent Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit.

Princess Ingrid Alexander is second in line of succession to the Norwegian throne, after her father, Crown Prince Haakon.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra was one of the young bridesmaids at Crown Princess Victoria’s wedding in 2010, and has already carried a few official engagements.

The Princess usually joins King Harald, Queen Sonja and other members of the Royal Family on the balcony at the Royal Palace on Constitution Day, 17 May.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra is currently attending the Oslo International School at Bekkestua.
