Birthday Celebrations on Victoria Day
More than 4,500 people arrived at Solliden Palace at Öland to wish Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden a very happy 39th birthday on Thursday, 14 July 2016.
Members of the Swedish Armed Forces fired a 21-gun salute at 12 noon from Skeppsholmen in Stockholm and other locations around Sweden.
Crown Princess Victoria says thank you to all the well-wishers, whilst holding her adorable four-month-old son Prince Oscar.
New Anglian Air Ambulance Air Base at Cambridge Airport
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh visit the new Anglian Air Ambulance Air Base at Cambridge as her grandson, Prince William gives his grandmother a guided tour.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance has responded to 1791 emergency calls in the last 12 months, providing rapid, effective treatment as soon as possible after injury. Today The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh met some of the 40 clinicians, 8 pilots and support staff who make this incredible service possible.
