Prince Harry joins Antigua’s cricketing Knights Sir Viv Richards, Sir Andy Roberts and Sir Curtly Ambrose for a Youth Sports Festival during his royal tour of the Caribbean.

Many Caribbean Islands, including Antigua and Barbuda, have a fantastic record of producing some of the world’s finest cricket players.

They met local children and young people who showed off their skills during a showcase of many national sports played in Antigua and Barbuda, including cricket, at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

The Prince also joined in a game of cricket with children, as he demonstrated his batting skills as he hit the ball around the field.

Prince Harry played cricket when he was at Eton and occasionally plays in charity matches.

Prince Harry is said to be honoured to be visiting the Caribbean during the year of the Queen’s 90th Birthday, and continue strengthening ties between the Royal Family and people of these important Commonwealth countries.
