Sweden’s Crown Princess Family “goes bush” in this year’s Christmas video.
The Crown Princess, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar send their Christmas message from Tyresta National Park, near Stockholm.
The Swedish Royal Court released this video on Monday, 19 December, showing the Crown Princess Family (Kronprinsessfamiljen) donning wet-weather gear, going for a walk in the forest and enjoying a barbeque near a lake.
Receiving Christmas Trees at the Royal Palace
This year Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Estelle received the Christmas trees delivered by students from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) on Wednesday, 14 December.
Students from the University’s Forestry Programme have delivered Nordmann fir trees to the Royal Palace since the late 1960s.
The handover traditionally takes place at the Palace’s East Gate.
SLU graduate Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia received the fir trees at the East Gate last year.
