Norway’s Princess Ingrid Alexandra celebrated her 13th birthday on Saturday, 21 January 2017, beginning her teenage years.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra, who is second in line to the Norwegian throne, after her father Crown Prince Haakon, was born 21 January 2004, at Rikshospitalet University Hospital in Oslo.

The Princess was christened in the Palace Chapel by Bishop Gunnar Stålsett on 17 April 2004. Her grandfather King Harald V, Crown Prince Fredrik of Denmark, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, King Felipe VI of Spain, her aunt Princess Märtha Louise, and her maternal grandmother Ms Marit Tjessem are her godparents.
