Kensington Palace has released a statement confirming the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be moving back to their official residence in London.

The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge lived at Anmer Hall since 2014 whilst Prince William worked as a pilot with the East Anglia Air Ambulance (EAAA).

However, Prince William’s contract finishes in summer, after a two-year commitment.

“It has been a huge privilege to fly with the East Anglia Air Ambulance. Following on from my time in the military, I have had experiences in this job I will carry with me for the rest of my life, and that will add a valuable perspective to my Royal work for decades to come,” Prince William said.

“I would like to thank the people of East Anglia for being so supportive of my role and for letting me get on with the job when they have seen me in the community or at our region’s hospitals. I would especially like to thank all of my colleagues at EAAA, Babcock, and Cambridge Airport for their friendship and support. I have loved being part of a team of professional, talented people that save lives every day. My admiration for our country’s medical and emergency services community could not be any stronger.”

The Duke and Duchess are keen to carry out their official work on the Queen’s behalf and the charities they support.

They are taking on more responsibilities since the Queen has stepped down as patron of 25 charities late last year.

Prince George will begin school in London. Sources claim he will attend Wetherby School, following in his father’s and uncle’s footsteps.

Meanwhile, his little sister Princess Charlotte will begin nursery and eventually attend school in London.

The source from Kensington Palace said Their Royal Highnesses love their time in Norfolk and will continue to be their home.
