Speculation has already arisen whether President Donald Trump meets with Prince Charles during the forthcoming state visit.

British Prime Minister passed on the Queen’s invitation to President Trump last Friday, 27 January.

It is expected Mr Trump will meet with the Prince of Wales who is well-known for his views on climate change, urging action to avoid “potentially devastating consequences”.

On the other hand, Mr Trump is a sceptic.

Prince Charles has already set himself on a collision course with Mr Trump late last year after making a series of veiled attacks about his attitude towards climate change and refugees.

Sources have said that the new President has made it very clear he won’t be “lectured about climate change” with fears of sparking a diplomatic row. Or Prince Charles asking Mr Trump whether he has read his new book.

Prince Charles had recently co-authored this book, Climate Change, with environmentalist Tony Juniper and climate scientist Emily Shuckburgh, which was launched on Thursday, 26 January 2017.

The front cover was inspired by a photograph of the flooding in Uckfield, East Sussex, which occurred in October 2000.

This is a first of a series of Ladybird Expert books, written for adults, and produced in the original books’ iconic style.
