Kylie Minogue is a singer and actress who was born and raised in Melbourne. She shot to fame with her role as Charlene in the long-running Australian TV series, Neighbours, during the late 1980s, and had a hit with her cover of the Little Eva song, The Loco-Motion.
She released her debut album, Kylie, in 1988, and has dominated the international pop and dance charts with songs such as Can’t Get You Out of My Head, Get Outta My Way and Spinning Around.
Kylie has also made several movie appearances including The Delinquents (1989) and Moulin Rouge (2000), and she has appeared as a judge on The Voice UK (Season 3) and The Voice Australia and in British TV series including The Vicar of Dibley and Doctor Who.
Kylie was appointed an Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2008 for recognition for services to music. She was inducted by the Australian Recording Industry Association into the ARIA Hall of Fame in November 2011.
However, Kylie Minogue is no stranger to Windsor Castle as she was one of the many performers at The Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations last year.
