The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry feature in a new film which has been released as part of the Heads Together campaign’s #OkToDay series.
The film captures a conversation between the Duke and Duchess and Prince Harry which took place at Kensington Palace, focusing on bereavement, modern childhood, dealing with trauma in the workplace and adjusting to parenthood.
The Duke and the Duchess and Prince Harry have asked others to start conversations with their families and friends, and are now doing the same. They hope this short film shows the positivity of a conversation about mental health issues with people they trust.
Heads Together is a British charity which works with young people, emergency response, homeless charities and with veterans to help resolve mental health problems which lie at the heart of some our greatest social challenges.
Too often, many people feel afraid to speak up about their struggles with mental health issues, due to prejudice, judgement and stigma which stops people from asking for help, which can destroy families or end lives.
They are keen to get rid of the stigma surrounding mental health in previous decades.
Heads Together want to help people to feel more comfortable about talking about their mental wellbeing and also provide practical tools to support family and friends who also go through difficult times.
