King Harald and Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit and their two children, Princess Ingrid Alexander and Prince Sverre Magnus gathered in front of the Christmas tree.

The King and Queen had visited London in November 2018 to celebrate Prince Charles’ 70th birthday and attended the Anglo-Norse society celebrations with Queen Elizabeth II.

King Harald and Queen Sonja celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on 29 August 2018.

He married Sonja Haraldsen in 1968 at Oslo Cathedral on 29 August 1968, after waiting nine years.

Earlier in 2018, King Harald and Queen Sonja welcomed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during their visit to Norway.
