Students from Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU)’s Forestry Programme have been delivering Nordmann fir trees to the Royal Palace since the late 1960s.
The handover traditionally takes place at the Palace’s East Gate.
In recent years, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Carl Philip have taken turns for receiving these Christmas trees.
