The bells of St Sava Temple tolled when Prince Stefan, son of Prince Philip and Princess Danica, was born in Belgrade on 25 February 2018.

He is also Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine’s first grandchild.

The Royal Court of Belgrade has released a gorgeous photo of the little prince with his proud grandparents to mark this milestone.

His birth was the first of a male child in the Royal Family after 90 years when Prince Tomislav, the younger brother of King Peter II, was born in 1928.

Patriarch Irinej of Serbia christened Prince Stefan at the Royal Chapel of St Andrew the First-Called in the Royal Compound in Dedinje, Belgrade, on 15 December 2018.

Prince Stefan wore the same gown which Peter II wore during his christening in 1923.
