Prince Charles, aged 71, is said to be displaying mild symptoms of COVID-19 but otherwise remains in good health.

NHS Aberdeen carried out the tests earlier this week.

Both The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are self-isolating at Birkhall estate, near Balmoral, and Prince Charles has been working from home during the past few days.

However, the Duchess has tested negative for coronavirus.

Daily Express royal reporter Richard Palmer pointed out on Twitter that Prince Charles and Prince Albert II of Monaco attended a Wateraid International Event in London on 10 March 2020.

Prince Albert also tested positive for the coronavirus last week.
