Kensington Palace has released a new photo of Prince William with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new picture of The Duke with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis ahead of The Duke’s birthday tomorrow.

The Duchess of Cambridge took the photo earlier in June at their country home Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

Early Years

The eldest son of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William was born in the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington at 9.03 pm on 22 June 1982.

Prince William weighed in at 7 pounds and 1 1/2 ounces (roughly 3.218 kilograms).

Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Robert Runcie, christened the little prince William Arthur Philip Louis in the Music Room at Buckingham Palace.

Prince William first accompanied his parents Prince Charles and Princess Diana on a tour of Australia and New Zealand in 1983, and has represented his grandmother, on an official tours overseas.

He attended Mrs Mynors Nursery School in London before attending Wetherby School in 1987.

Three years later he attended Ludgrove School in Berkshire, before spending his high school years at Eton College. He took his GCSEs and A Levels in Geography, Biology and History of Art.

Prince William took a gap year where he participated in ‘preparation for survival’ exercises with the Welsh Guards in Belize, working as a volunteer with Raleigh International in Chile, working on a dairy farm in the UK and visiting African countries.

He studied a Master of Arts degree in History of Art and Geography at St Andrew’s University in Scotland for four years, graduating in 2005 with a 2:1 Master of Arts (Honours) in Geography.

Following university, Prince William attended the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst as an Officer Cadet.

Prince William was commissioned as an Army Officer in December 2006, after completing a 44-week training course, and joined the Household Cavalry (Blues and Royals) as a Second Lieutenant.

He also worked as a Search and Rescue pilot during his time in the army, based at Anglesey from 2010, followed by two years with the East Anglia Air Ambulance from 2015.

Marriage

Prince William married Catherine Middleton, whom he met at university, on 29 April 2011 amidst pomp and ceremony at Westminster Abbey, with world leaders including Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard among the guests.

The Queen granted the titles of Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathern and Baron Carrickfergus when Prince William married.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

They currently live at Kensington Palace but also spend time at their country home, Anmer Hall, near Sandringham.
