English Translation

Dear everyone,

There are probably no more words that help right now. What we need is to see the end of the situation we have been in for over a year. Many are tired and upset. We all miss the ordinary life. Still – and precisely because of that – I will now before Easter say that I am thinking of you.

The Norwegian people have shown a unique unity, trust and adaptability over a long period of time.

I’m really impressed! But you, now it’s clearing up. And we may need our unity more than ever. We need to show each other generosity and kindness. We need to strengthen each other in the belief that the end is near.

I want to wish each and every one of you as happy Easter as possible. Many of us are disappointed not to be able to be with friends and family. I still hope that everyone will try to do their best based on the situation – where we are. That we can all find joy in small things that we can do after all.

Happy Easter everyone!
