Under våren utlyste Kungl. Hovstaterna en tävling för att ta fram en symbol för jubileumsåret. Tävlingen riktades till studenter inom grafisk formgivning och design. Vinnare blev Elis Nyström, student vid Kungl. Tekniska högskolan i Stockholm.
During the spring, the King announced Hovstaterna a competition to come up with a symbol for the jubilee year. The competition was aimed at students in graphic design and design. The winner was Elis Nyström, a student at King’s College. Stockholm University of Technology.
