Royal Wedding Anniversary
HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh were married in a state wedding at Westminster Abbey on 20 November 1947, during post-war Britain.
They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on 20 November 2014. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip create history with a Platinum (70th) Wedding Anniversary in three years’ time.
