The Danish Royal Court has released three photos to mark Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine’s 5th birthday on Friday, 8 January 2016.

Their mother, Crown Princess Mary, took these gorgeous photos.

Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine were born on 8 January 2011 at Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital). A 21-gun salute was fired in Copenhagen and at Krongborg Castle.

They are the youngest children of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, and are fourth and fifth in the line of succession to the Danish throne.

The twins were christened in Holmen’s Church in Copenhagen on Thursday, 14 April 2011
