Anzac Day 2016 in London

Our Warrior Prince attended a Dawn Service at Wellington Arch, a parade and wreath-laying ceremony at Whitehall’s Cenotaph and a service of commemoration and thanksgiving in Westminster Abbey.

Anzac Day honours the sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women in all wars, especially those who died during the disastrous landing at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915.

William Shakespeare’s 400th Anniversary

Prince Charles makes his surprise stage appearance at Stratford-Upon-Avon, as part of the celebrations celebrating the 400 anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death in 1616.
