The Queen and Prince Philip, accompanied by other members of the Royal Family attended a Service of Thanksgiving for the life and work of Antony Charles Robert Armstrong-Jones, 1st Earl of Snowdon, on Friday, 7 April 2017.

Enlightened Princesses

A new exhibition focuses on the lives of three German princesses who married into the British Royal Family, Caroline of Ansbach who married George II, Augusta of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg, who married Frederik Prince of Wales, and Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, George III’s Queen-consort.

The exhibition runs from 22 June to 12 November 2017.
