The Royal House of the Netherlands has released new photos of King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima and their three daughters in Lech, Austria, on 26 February 2018.

The photo shoot took place approximately 2.363 metres with temperatures dropped down to a rather chilly -20°C despite a cloudless sky above.

It’s become a tradition that the Dutch Royal Family pose for photos at the beginning of their skiing holiday, with an understanding that the media will leave them alone to enjoy some privacy during their stay.

The Dutch royal family visit the exclusive ski resort of Lech in western Austria every year, having holidayed there since the late 1950s.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima had congratulated the Dutch team, including medal-winners, who competed at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games on Sunday, 25 February.
