Prince Harry created the Invictus Games in 2014, an international adaptive multi-sport event, in which wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and veterans take part in sports including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, and indoor rowing.

The Invictus Games highlights the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding of and respect for those brave men and women who serve their country during times of war and peace.
