Crown Princess Mary is pleased to share three new photos of her eldest daughter who celebrated her birthday on Sunday, 21 April 2019.

Princess Isabella Henrietta Ingrid Margrethe, Countess of Monpezat, was born in 2007 at Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen Univeristy Hospital).

A 21-gun salute was fired from the Sixtus Battery at Holmen Naval Base in Copenhagen and Kronborg Castle to mark her birth.

She is Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary’s second child and eldest daughter, and Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik’s eldest granddaughter.

Her christening was held in the Fredensborg Palace chapel, with godparents including Queen Mathilde of Belgium, Princess Alexia of Greece and Denmark.

Princess Isabella currently attends a state school, Tranegårdsskolen, with her brothers and youngest sister.

At the moment, Princess Isabella is third in the line of succession to the Danish throne, following her father and older brother, Prince Christian.
