Republic Supporters Come Out Of The Woodwork … Again
Australian Republican Movement Chairman Peter Fitzsimons takes aim at the Royal Family, following Prince Andrew’s recent interview.
Serious question for Australian monarchists.
Are you proud of this bloke?
And do you think he deserves to be sixth in line to be Australian Head of State?
I seriously look forward to your considered replies.https://t.co/ZvDxRn2OfE via @smh— Peter FitzSimons (@Peter_Fitz) November 17, 2019
Except Mr Fitzsimons didn’t take into account the two new royal arrivals last year: Prince Louis and Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.
Not the time to push this agenda. By the way, Prince Andrew is no longer sixth in the line of succession. He is now bumped down to 8th place, thanks to Prince Louis and Archie Mountbatten-Windsor. @Peter_Fitz Many Royal commentators have already had their 5c worth. #PrinceAndrew

We were happy to set the record straight for Mr Fitzsimons.
However, Royal Commentator Victoria Arbiter offered some rather sensible advice for the Duke of York’s plans for Christmas Day.
Dear Prince Andrew, About the walk to church on Christmas Day…best do the “honourable” thing and stay home. If you’re feeling not so “grand” maybe you could keep busy peeling parsnips with the “staff”. #Timetostepdown

Same could arguably said for all those elected MPs in Westminster.

Royal Wedding 72 Years On
Princess (now Queen) Elizabeth married Prince Philip on 20 November 1947 in Westminster Abbey.

They first met at a Royal Family Wedding but a visit to Dartmouth Naval College in 1939 was said to become a pivotal moment in their lives, writing to each other during World War II whilst serving their country and the announcement of their engagement.
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh have become British history’s longest-married royal couple.
