The Danish Royal Court has released four new photos to mark the 9th birthday of twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, on 8 January 2020.
Their proud mother, Crown Princess Mary, took all four photos.
The twins, along with their older siblings Prince Christian and Princess Isabella, started their first day at Lemania-Verbier International School in Switzerland on 6 January 2020.
The twins started school at Tranegårdskolen in Gentofte on 15 August 2017 and resume classes when they return to Denmark, after 12 weeks in Switzerland.
Prince Vincent was born on 8 January 2011 at 10.30 am, with his twin, Princess Josephine, arriving 26 minutes later at 10.56, at Rigshospitalet, the Copenhagen University Hospital, in Copenhagen.
At 12 noon, 21-gun salutes were fired from the Sixtus Battery at Holmen Naval Base in Copenhagen and from Kronborg Castle in North Zealand to mark the royal births.
Crown Prince Frederik joked during a media conference at the hospital about calling his son, Elvis, as the twins share their birthday with Elvis Presley.
At present, the twins are currently fourth and fifth in the line of succession to the Danish throne.
