The Swedish Royal Family are using technology via video link to catch up during the Easter break.

This year, the Swedish Royal Family, were unable to celebrate Easter with their children and grandchildren this year due to the coronavirus.

King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia are currently following the current health regulations and are in home isolation at Stenhammar Palace in Södermanland.

Princess Madeleine, her husband Mr Christopher O’Neill and their three children, Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas and Princess Adrienne, currently live in Florida in the United States.

Through the video link, however, the King’s family has wished for Happy Easter to each other.

King Carl Gustaf spoke to Prime Minister Stefan Löfven by telephone on Monday, 6 April, for updates about the coronavirus.

Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel have been carrying out official engagements by video link.
