Prince Joachim and Princess Marie have shared some photos of their son, Prince Henrik, on his 11th birthday on Monday, 4 May 2020.

Prince Henrik’s little sister Princess Athena took these photos during the family’s current stay in Møgeltønder in southern Jutland.

Prince Joachim and his wife Princess Marie’s son Henrik Carl Joachim Alain was born on 4 May 2009 at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen.

His parents named Prince Henrik after his paternal grandfather who passed away on 13 February 2018.

He has two older half-brothers from his father’s first marriage, Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix and a younger sister, Princess Athena.

His christening was held on 26 July 2009 at the Mogeltonder Church, with his paternal aunt Crown Princess Mary as one of his godparents.

Prince Henrik began attending Sct Joseph Sisteren’s Skole in Ordrup on 11 August 2015, a private Catholic school.

At the moment, Prince Henrik is currently ninth in the line of succession to the Danish throne.
