Prince George celebrates his 7th birthday on Wednesday, 22 July 2020, with Kensington Palace releasing two new photos to mark the occasion.

The Duchess of Cambridge took both photos earlier in July at Anmer Hall.

Prince George was born at 4.24 pm on 22 July 2013 in the Lindo Wing at London’s St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.

He started school at Thomas’s Battersea on Thursday, 7 September 2017 and will currently start Year 3 later this year.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined their parents at their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk during the coronavirus lockdown.

Thomas’s Battersea went into isolation after two students were tested for COVID-19 following a trip to Italy.

However, Prince George and Princess Charlotte had access to online learning from their school since 20 March 2020.

Kensington Palace shared a video of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s three children showing their support for the NHS health system and joined in the Clap for Carers campaign on 27 March.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte also helped their parents deliver food parcels to isolated pensioners in their local area, especially during Volunteers Week in June.

Prince George is currently second in the line of succession, following his father, The Duke of Cambridge and grandfather, The Prince of Wales.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott declared confidently, during the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s royal visit in 2014  that their son would one day be welcomed to Australia as King George VII.
