Buckingham Palace has released three new photos to mark Princess Anne’s 70th birthday on Saturday, 15 August 2020.

Princess Anne is one of the busiest members of the British Royal Family as she carries out hundreds of official engagements, in support of Queen Elizabeth.
The Princess Royal has hosted Investitures at Buckingham Palace, presented recipients with their medals for honours such as MBEs and CBEs for outstanding achievements.

The Army and Royal Air Force promoted Princess Anne to general and air chief marshal to mark her 70th Birthday.
Princess Anne is already Admiral and Chief Commandant for Women in the Royal Navy and Commodore-in-Chief of HMNB Portsmouth.
The Princess Royal also holds several honorary appointments in the armed forces in several Commonwealth realms, including Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

In Australia, Princess Anne is Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals and Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Australian Corps of Transport.
