Serbia’s Crown Princess Katherine celebrates her birthday on Friday, 13 November 2020, with her immediate family in Belgrade.

A statemnt from the Royal Palace, Belgade, says:
Crown Princess Katherine warmly thanks everyone who sent her birthday cards and wishes to all the people around the world to stay healthy in these difficult times and Crown Princess Katherine will continue to help our country and the citizens of Serbia and Republika Srpska with the same enthusiasm and strength that she has for over 30 years.
The Royal Palace has released a video to mark the Crown Princess’ 77th Birthday.
Katherine Clairy Batis was born in Athens, Greece, on 13 November 1943.
She first married Jack Walter Andrews in 1962. They had two children before they divorced in 1984.
Katherine met Crown Prince Alexander in Washington DC in 1984. They married in London on 21 September 1985, with King Constantine II of Greece as their best man. Crown Prince Alexander’s uncle, Prince Tomislav, was the witness.
They have three sons, Hereditary Prince Peter, and twins Prince Philip and Prince Alexander.
Her charity work involved humanitarian efforts, including the conflict in the former Yugoslavia, especially with children, the elderly and those in need.
She established the Crown Princess Katherine Foundation in August 2001 in Belgrade with the aim to continue and support humanitarian activities.
