Kensington Palace has released a new photo of Prince George to mark his 8th Birthday on Thursday, 22 July 2021.

His mother, The Duchess of Cambridge took the photo at their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.

Prince George was born at 4.24 pm on 22 July 2013 in the Lindo Wing at London’s St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.

He started school at Thomas’s Battersea on Thursday, 7 September 2017 and will currently start Year 4 later this year.

Prince George is currently second in the line of succession, following his father, The Duke of Cambridge and grandfather, The Prince of Wales.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posted a message on their official Twitter account: ‘Thank you for all your lovely messages on Prince George’s 8th birthday’.
