Queen Margrethe II has tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday evening, 8 February 2022.

According to a statement from the Royal House of Denmark, Queen Margrethe is displaying only mild symptoms and is currently in isolation in Christian IX’s Palace at Amalienborg.
However, Queen Margrethe’s planned winter holiday in Norway, which was supposed to start today, has been cancelled.
The Royal House is currently following the current health guidelines.
