Queen Margrethe II of Denmark celebrates her 82nd Birthday on Saturday, 16 April 2022, at Marselisborg Palace in Aarhus during her Jubilee Year.
During her Jubilee Year, Queen Margrethe celebrates her birthday with the public at Marselisborg Palace in Aarhus, starting with a birthday parade starting at 12.00 noon, when she and the rest of the Royal Family will appear on the veranda.
The public is allowed access from 11.20 am at the front and the east of the palace.
This is the first time in three years as birthday celebrations in 2020 and 2021 were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Wellwishers can post their birthday greetings from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm on the congratulatory lists at the Yellow Palace at Amalienborg.
For those unable to sign the congratulatory lists in person, wellwishers can send their messages via the Royal House’s official social media accounts or on the Danish edition of their website – Kongehuset.dk.
