King Charles and Queen Camilla will be crowned in a historic ceremony in Westminster Abbey on Saturday, 6 May – the first joint Coronation since King George VI and Queen Elizabeth on 12 May 1937.

The Royal Family and the British Government invite people across the nation and the Commonwealth to celebrate the Coronation during a weekend of special events from Saturday, 6 May, to Monday, 8 May.

The official website also provides a toolkit with useful templates and materials to help with organising your own Coronation celebrations including recipes, the Coronation Celebration playlist on Spotify, kids’ activity sheets and homemade bunting using the official Coronation Emblem.

It also provides details about hosting a street party and, if you live in the United Kingdom, you can add your own celebration to their map.
