Where has the time gone? It only seemed like yesterday when Prince Alexander was born on 19 April 2016 at Danderyd Hospital in Stockholm at 6.25 pm. He weighed in at 3.595 kg (about 8 pounds) and was 49 cm in length.

His grandfather, King Carl XVI Gustaf, granted his grandson, Prince Alexander, the title of Duke of Södermanland two days after he was born.

The little prince was christened Alexander Erik Hubertus Bertil in Drottningholm Palace Chapel on Friday, 9 September 2016.
