Grand Duke Henri granted audiences to visiting Prime Ministers on official visits to Luxembourg on Friday, 9 March 2018.

The Finnish Prime Minister had an audience with Grand Duke Henri at the Grand Ducal Palace at 9.00 am.

Mr Sipilä had met with Prime Minister Xavier Bettel on Thursday 8 March to discuss a number of issues, including bilateral relations, the European Union, the EU’s Economic and Monetary Union (EMU), defence, Brexit and agriculture.

Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Löfven

Prime Minister Stefan Löfven travelled to Luxembourg for a two-day visit from 9 to 10 March, for talks with Prime Minister Xavier Bettel including EU Issues and the Global Deal.

Later that day, at 4.15 pm, Grand Duke Henri received Mr Löfven at the Grand Ducal Palace.

Mr Löfven also paid a courtesy call on the Chamber of Deputies Mars Di Bartolomeo at 4.50 pm at the Chamber of Deputies, 19 Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes.

However, Mr Löfven returned to Stockholm to attend the Cabinet meeting at the Royal Palace when King Carl XVI Gustaf announced his latest granddaughter’s name and title.
