The Swedish Royal Court has released new photos of the Royal Family during their summer holiday on 20 August 2018.
The Royal Family spend their holiday at their official summer residence at Solliden Palace on the Baltic Sea island of Öland on southern Sweden’s west coast.
Photographer Anna-Lena Ahlström took photos of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, and Crown Princess Victoria’s and Prince Carl Philip’s families during July 2018.
A photo of Princess Madeleine and her family were taken at a later date when they returned to Sweden.
Solliden Palace gardens are open during the summer months when the Royal Family are not in residence.
King Carl XVI Gustaf inherited Solliden Palace when his grandfather Gustav V died in 1950.
