Clarence House has released two new photos of the Prince of Wales and his family to mark this special occasion.

I was delighted to have been asked to take these official portraits of The Prince of Wales surrounded by his family to celebrate the important milestone of his 70th Birthday. It was particularly special to capture such an informal and relaxed family portrait over a fun afternoon!

Chris Jackson from Getty Images took these photos in the garden at Clarence House.

Queen Elizabeth II is hosting a lavish 70th birthday celebration in Prince Charles’ honour at Buckingham Palace.

King Harald V, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess of Norway, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium will be among the royal relatives attending the Prince of Wales’ birthday party.
