Ari Behn’s Funeral
However, Crown Princess Victoria was unable to travel to Norway to support her childhood friend, Princess Märtha Louise, during this sad time and to attend Ari Behn’s funeral at Oslo Cathedral.
Prince Daniel travelled alone to Oslo, representing their family, whilst Crown Princess Victoria stayed to look after their daughter.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel released the following statement, following the news of Ari Behn’s death on Christmas Day: ‘It is with great sadness we received news of Ari Behn’s death. We will remember Ari as the warm, cordial and spiritual man he was. It was a privilege to get to know Ari. Our thoughts are with his daughters and family.’
