The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall wrote a letter to the 90,000 postal workers at Royal Mail on 5 May 2020, commending their ‘dedication, resilience and hard work’ during this challenging time.

Postman Neil, who has been employed with Royal Mail for 36 years, collected the letter from Birkhall, on the Balmoral Estate, where Charles and Camilla are currently staying during their home isolation.

Royal Mail plays an absolutely vital role in keeping family and friends in touch with one another.
