Buckingham Palace has announced Queen Elizabeth II will view a military ceremony to mark her Official Birthday in the United Kingdom on Saturday, 13 June 2020.

The Band of the Household Division will perform music whilst soldiers from the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards will carry out a series of military drills in the Quadrangle at Windsor Castle.

The Queen is greeted by a Royal Salute when she arrives in the Quadrangle for the ceremony which ends with a second Salute before she leaves.

The 1st Battalion Welsh Guards are currently on duty at Windsor Castle whilst the Queen and Prince Philip are in residence.

The traditional Trooping the Colour ceremony, with a balcony appearance and flyover, was cancelled for 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
