Prince Christian of Denmark has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a statement from The Danish Royal House, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were briefed on Sunday, 6 December 2020, about ‘a local outbreak of COVID-19’ at their children’s school, Tranegårdskolen in Hellerup.
Prince Christian is now in isolation in Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg.
However, Prince Christian has not been in contact with other members of the Royal Family, apart from his parents and siblings.
His Royal Highness is in isolation in Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg. Other than the Crown Prince family, Prince Christian has not been in contact with other members of the royal family very recently.
Following the test results, the Danish Royal Family ‘has received guidance from the Danish Patient Safety Authority concerning infection detection and testing of the Crown Prince family’ during the next two weeks.
The Crown Prince Family will remain in isolation in Frederik VIII’s Palace, according to existing guidelines, in the meantime until they receive the all clear.
