The Royal Court of Sweden has released the first photo of little Prince Julian, taken by his proud father Prince Carl Philip, on Sunday, 28 March 2021.

Prince Julian was born at 11.19 am at Danderyd Hospital in Stockholm on Friday, 26th March 2021.

His grandfather King Carl XVI Gustaf announced the new prince’s name and granted the Duchy of Halland during a Council of State on Sunday, 28 March 2021.

King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Prince Carl Philip, Prince Alexander, and Princess Sofia’s parents, Erik and Marie Hellqvist, and her older sister Lina attended a Te Deum, or Thanksgiving Service, in the Royal Palace Chapel that afternoon.
