The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have proudly released a new photo with the caption, ‘George is turning 9’ ahead of his birthday on Friday, 22 June 2022.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who is a keen photographer, captured the image of her eldest son, on a beach during their summer holiday in the UK.
Prince George has attended royal and sports events during the past few months, including his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, with appearances at Trooping the Colour and the Platinum Party at the Palace.
His parents took Prince George to watch Novak Djokovic win the men’s tennis final at Wimbledon on Sunday, 10 July 2022.
Prince George, who is currently third in the line of succession, was born in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington at 4.24 pm on 22 July 2013.
The little prince weighed in at 8 pounds 6 ounces (about 3.8 kilograms).
