The Grand Ducal Court of Luxembourg announced some very exciting news on Thursday, 29 September 2022, through their social media accounts.

The statement said, ‘Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess are delighted to announce that the Hereditary Grand Duke and Hereditary Grand Duchess are expecting Their second child.’

‘The Grand Duke, the Grand Duchess and the members of the two families join in this great happiness.’

The baby is due in April 2023.

The couple has a son, Prince Charles, who was born on 10 May 2020, and is currently second in the line of succession.
