The Swedish Royal Court has released a statement regarding Princess Madeleine’s plans for her third child’s birth which is due in March 2018.

King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia will become grandparents for the seventh time.

Princess Madeleine and her husband Mr Christopher O’Neill made the decision, so she will be arriving in Sweden during mid-February.

However, as Princess Madeline and her family are not registered residents in Sweden, all hospital care costs associated with the birth will be paid using personal funds.

Princess Madeleine married British-born American financier Christopher O’Neill in a lavish ceremony in Stockholm on 8 June 2013.

However, their first child, Leonore, who celebrates her 4th Birthday on 20 February, was born in New York in 2014.

Prince Nicolas was born in Sweden at the Danderyd Hospital in Stockholm in 2015.

The Swedish Royal Court announced this exciting news on 27 August 2017.
