On Tuesday morning on 25 February 2020, members of the Dutch Royal Family met with the media in Lech, Austria, for a photo session.
King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima and their three daughters, Princess Catharina-Amalia, Princess Alexia and Princess Ariane, are currently on holidays during the Spring Break.
Princess Beatrix, Prince Constattijn and Princess Laurentien and their three children, Countess Eloise, Count Claus-Casimir and Countess Leonore also participated again this year.
One photo shows three generations, with past, present and future monarchs of the Netherlands, with Princess Beatrix (who reigned from 30 April 1980 to 30 April 2013), King Willem-Alexander and Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange.
Princess Beatrix is also photographed with her six grandchildren.
The Dutch Royal Family have been spending their holidays at Lech in western Austria every year since the 1950s.
This has become an annual tradition when the Royal Family pose for photos at the beginning of their winter holiday to avoid being followed by photographers throughout their stay at the exclusive resort.
Any media outlets who violate this agreement will no longer be permitted to participate in future photo sessions.
