Buckingham Palace has announced Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their first child in early 2021.

A statement on social media said, ‘The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.’
Princess Eugenie also posted the good news on Instagram, with a photo of herself and Jack, as well as a pair of cute baby shoes, with the message, ‘Jack and I are so excited for early 2021 …’
The baby, who will be 11th in the line of succession, will be Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh’s ninth great-grandchild.
Princess Eugenie’s parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, will become grandparents for the first time.
Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank in a lavish at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on 12 October 2018, which was televised around the world.
